Discord solves OpenClaw task assignment issues

Communication issues with OpenClaw task assignment

An OpenClaw user named @Yangon_ETH has reported unusual behavior of his AI assistant on Twitter. When assigning tasks via the Telegram messenger, the AI showed delayed reactions and apparently looked for excuses not to complete the work immediately.

Different behavior across communication channels

Interestingly, direct task assignment through the OpenClaw interface worked without issues. The AI assistant reacted immediately and completed the tasks promptly. This led the user to suspect that the problem might not lie with the AI itself, but with the communication platform.

Solution through switching to Discord

After thorough research, the user concluded that using Discord as a communication platform completely solves the problem. Since switching to Discord, task assignment works smoothly again, without the previously observed delays or excuses.

Possible technical causes

Although the exact technical background is unknown, the problem could be related to the way Telegram integrates with the OpenClaw platform. Discord may offer a more stable or direct connection for communicating with AI assistants.
